TRED CHARIOT is the network specialising in home or site delivery of heavy and bulky items with a truck mounted forklift.

Created in 2013 by five visionary hauliers from the TRED UNION group, the company is based on a powerful idea: regionalise deliveries to respond effectively to new logistics challenges.

The following year, TRED CHARIOT was officially created as an SAS with capital of €30,000, and launched its first service: LDD – Direct Home Delivery.
The concept was simple, but highly effective: deliver products from the manufacturer to the end customer with as few intermediate deliveries as possible.

Success was immediate.

TRED CHARIOT embodies a new generation of transporters: reliable, agile and responsible. A model perfectly aligned with new market expectations.

A rapidly expanding network

2014

TRED CHARIOT is officially created as an SAS with capital of €30,000, and launches its 1st service: ‘LDD’ Direct Home Delivery.

Since its creation, the network has continued to grow in line with demand.
Opening of 6 new strategic platforms:
– Île-de-France, for greater flexibility,
– In Isère, expert in all-season mountain deliveries,
– In the Centre region, at the crossroads of France,
– In Aveyron, Ardèche and PACA, for better access to complex areas.

2020-2021

TRED CHARIOT is responding to the explosion in consumption during confinements:
– 25 logistics platforms,
– 100,000 m² of storage space,
– 250 on-board multi-directional forklifts,
– National and European coverage: France – Corsica, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain.
– 100% digital customer portal (EDI, SAAS) for online tracking in real time, from shipment to delivery.

2022

TRED CHARIOT has signed up to the EVCOM scheme with a target of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 9% over 3 years.
Thanks to its highly promising results (emissions down 7.57% in the 1st year), the company will be honoured with the ‘Best Progress’ trophy at the EVE event in March 2024.

Our CSR commitments

2023

In an uncertain economic climate, TRED CHARIOT is staying the course with a resolutely forward-looking strategy: to become the European leader in delivery with an on-board trolley.

The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme imposes obligations on manufacturers of products that generate waste. ‘COLL’ is the new collection system for heavy and bulky goods, from the end consumer, the worksite and the recycling centre.

A completely paperless ordering process: thanks to its 100% connected customer portal (EDI, SAAS),
